Russian antitrust checks oil traders over fuel price growth
MOSCOW, Jul 29 (PRIME) -- The Federal Antimonopoly Service is conducting extraordinary checks of oil traders due to a fuel price increase on the commodities markets, the authority said in a statement on Thursday.
"In order to control fulfillment of the antimonopoly legislation, the authority is urgently checking oil traders. It was caused by the results of monitoring of oil product price indicators by the antimonopoly service," the statement read.
The authority earlier requested information about the volume of fuel sales on the markets from the companies, and the checks are continuation of the measures.
